The Bio-Technopark offers professional support for life science start-ups in the setting up and expansion of business activities and promotes interaction between start-ups, academia and industry. Disco Pharmaceuticals is a young ETH spin-off company based in Zurich/Switzerland and Cologne/Germany. We leverage a novel mass spectrometric technology to investigate processes that are fundamental to cancer biology. We combine methodologies in cell biology, biochemistry, mass spectrometry with computational tools to identify proteins selectively expressed on cancer cells. Our ultimate goal is to develop innovative therapies for cancers with high unmet clinical need.
