We started KUORI in 2022. We are an innovative Swiss Cleantech company committed to transitioning to a post-oil economy by transforming consumer plastics through a circular economy approach. As a B2B enterprise, we provide cutting-edge and eco-friendly granules, seamlessly fitting into existing manufacturing processes of diverse sectors including fashion, outdoor equipment and tools. Overall our material has a PCF (Product Carbon Footprint) potentially 60% lower compared to conventional plastics. We leverage food byproducts - such as olive pits and walnut shells - to produce novel bio-based, biodegradable, and elastic materials that have a patent pending. Our materials only produce biodegradable microplastics, directly addressing a critical environmental concern.

After more than 15 years of research (Tissue Biology Research Unit, University Children’s Hospital Zurich), CUTISS AG can now bio-engineer large quantities of individually customized human skin grafts, denovoSkin™, starting off from a very small piece of healthy patient’s skin. Because of its intrinsic characteristics, denovoSkin™ is expected to result in a minimally scarring outcome after transplantation. denovoSkin™ received a Swissmedic, EMA and FDA Orphan drug designation for the treatment of burns.
